Captain’s Update Nov 30th – Big Seas

We are beginning to enter the large waves. As a precaution, our port hole has been sealed and covered with a metal cover. We can no longer look out our port hole.

PORT HOLE COVERED

Our tracker was hanging in our porthole which means, live tracking updates will only happen when we are outside of our cabin. Do not worry if the tracking is intermittent.

The temperature is improving. It is 76 degrees or 24C, which means we are spending most of our time out on the deck and enjoying the roller coaster ride. We have had a few scattered showers, with periods of sunshine and rainbows. So far we are not impacted by the large waves. Neither one of is feeling sea sick. We are finding the motion of the boat to be very calming and is more like a cradle.

This evening is supposed to be the worst of it with waves up to 20 ft. She is a sturdy ship, and no reason to be alarmed.

20 footers should be quite a ride on that boat. I’m surprised you only have 100 passengers. Looks great. have a fun crossing. You aren’t missing anything here dreary weather although it was 52 early in the day.
